I cannot express in words what it meant to photograph this session. This little nugget has been a long time coming. My beautiful sister Megan was on bed rest for almost a month and finally came off at 37 weeks and we jumped at the opportunity to do their maternity session. Megan & Jim’s wedding flowers were sunflowers so I thought it was only appropriate to run out to the last day of the sunflowers prime time to take these photos. Is she not glowing? And since I am a little late in posting this, I am so proud to say that she had a beautiful baby girl October 23rd at a whopping 9 lbs 5oz. Not only did Megan endure pre-term labor, contractions her whole pregnancy, bed rest for 5 weeks, returning to work, AND being 5 days past her due date, she labored for 10 hours and pushed for 3 to bring my gorgeous niece into this world. Welcome Amelia James Linz Dickinson. We are so happy you are here safe and sound. I love you so much already. (obviously newborn photos will be gracing the blog in the coming weeks).
