Branding
Helping tell your story
A strong brand isn’t just about a great logo or a pretty website—it’s about connection. When you’re a small business, you are the brand. Your personality, your story, the way you show up in the world—these are the things that set you apart. A branding photoshoot helps you bring that to life visually, giving you a library of professional, on-brand images that capture the heart of your business. Whether you’re updating your website, posting on social media, or introducing yourself to new clients, your photos should feel like you. A branding session gives you the confidence to show up consistently and makes it easier for the right people to find—and remember—you.
Putting your Best Foot Forward
Branding
How is a branding session different than a headshot?
A headshot session is usually quick and focused on getting a great portrait—think profile photo or LinkedIn. A branding session goes deeper. It’s about telling the story of you and your business through a mix of portraits, lifestyle shots, behind-the-scenes moments, and details that show what makes your brand unique.
What do I wear?
Choose 2–3 outfits that make you feel confident and reflect your brand. If you’ll be using the photos on your website, make sure your outfits coordinate with your site’s colors. Neutrals and soft tones are always a safe bet, but feel free to bring a pop of color if that’s your vibe.
What is the best location for a branding session?
The best location is one that reflects you and the heart of your brand. That might be your home office, a cozy coffee shop, a bright studio space, or even your favorite local spot where you feel totally in your element.
How long is a branding session?
Most branding sessions last about 1.5 to 2 hours, which gives us time for outfit changes, different setups, and a mix of headshots, lifestyle, and detail shots.
What is included in the shoot?
Every session includes a pre-shoot questionnaire, personalized planning guidance, the shoot itself, and a curated online gallery of high-resolution, edited images for you to download.
When is the best time of day for a shoot?
Natural light is our best friend, so I typically recommend mid-morning or late afternoon for the most flattering, soft light—especially if we’re outdoors or in a space with windows. If we’re shooting indoors with studio lighting, we have a bit more flexibility.

How do I prepare for the shoot?
Once you book your branding session, I’ll send over a quick questionnaire to help us get aligned and make the most of your shoot. It’s a thoughtful (but not overwhelming!) way for me to get to know you, your business, and the vibe you’re going for. Your answers will help me plan the session with intention, so everything from your location to your posing feels natural and on-brand. It’s all part of making sure your photos tell the right story—your story.
