These two…. right here… are just amazing. Nothing but amazing words were spoken about these newlyweds. Straight from their first meeting, I have felt so comfortable with them and I was so excited to be a part of their wedding day.
Andy & Oscar’s wedding was straight up awesome. They got ready together at their restored Baltimore home before we walked over to their church, First and Franklin Presbyterian. Their ceremony was beautiful, a combination of Spanish and English, merging their two cultures together. One of the few friends from Costa Rica that was able to come over to witness Oscar getting married did a reading perfectly read in Spanish. I could listen to her talk for hours it was so beautiful, bringing tears to Oscar’s eyes (I LOVE grooms that cry!). Their ceremony was followed by a cocktail hour on The Belvedere’s 13th floor that gave guests a gorgeous view of Baltimore. Oscar & Andy were announced into their reception, only the second wedding reception ever held in the Platinum Ballroom and surprised their guests with a little salsa dancing. I love the photo of Oscar at the end of their first dance, waving to the crowd!
After heartfelt speeches, the party rocked with dancing. My favorite detail was their cake by LaCakerie, topped with two little men that looked exactly like Andy & Oscar, and even their dog Sarge taking a nibble out of the bottom. I am beyond happy to have been able to capture the love and commitment these two men share. I wish you all the happiness in the world!
